Wattan TV is an independent secular and non profit Palestinian TV station. It was established in 1996 by civil society organizations. Since then, it has grown to become one of the most popular television stations in the Palestinian Territories.
Mission
Wattan advocates for democracy and peace justice and political pluralism and rule of law. Hence, Wattan TV concentrates on producing and broadcasting high quality programs that focus on society development and raising awareness about political and social economical educational and environmental issues. Moreover, Wattan TV produces and broadcasts distinguished programs that allow public’s interaction.
Wattan believes in the effective role of media in creating a society where values of citizenship, rule of law and development prevail. Wattan programs focus on political social and economic, educational and environmental and health issues as well as highlighting the bright side of the Palestinian history, culture and heritage.
Wattan TV broadcasts through three channels: terrestrial, Web TV and satellite.

Wattan seeks to be an independent secular media organization, to play an effective role in raising the voice of the Palestinian public and to act as a free platform for all Palestinians. Wattan aims to contribute in the enhancement of democracy and human rights culture paving the way for a future democratic Palestinian state.

We believe in the right to access information for all citizens, so we are committed to provide credible and unbiased news and programs presented professionally away from ideologies and prejudice. We commit ourselves to gather information and views from credible sources.
GOAL
Wattan aims to present a positive model for independent media outlets in Palestine through:
A- Promoting the approach of political pluralism, democracy, rule of law and the separation of powers.
B- Advocating principles of peace, social justice, non-violence and peaceful resolution in solving conflicts.
C- Producing and broadcasting TV programs that raise public awareness towards social, health, environmental and education issues besides TV debates discussing various issues of public concern.
D- Producing and broadcasting TV programs that promote dialogue, free expression of opinion, role of women, as well as debates over political and legislative issues.
E- Training, internship and hosting journalism graduates where interns get hands on actual work experience and participate in the production of programs and news.
